For Keith, this event and the May storms that led to it are deeply personal. "I grew up in Moore, I live in Norman and I've got lots of family and friends who were directly affected," he says. "I know these folks and they're resilient, but we're going to keep helping them any way we can. I'm proud to get together with some others from around here who are just as committed as I am to supporting these communities."
"Once we got the news that the tornado had hit Toby's hometown, Miss Yearwood and I told Toby we were at his service for whatever he chose to do," Brooks says. "I am amazed at the human spirit the tornado victims have shown. I am humbled by the giving of the volunteers. It is an honor to get to be a part of this healing process."
While in the hospital Linda Whitaker captured this tender moment when her 86-year-old father, James Pinegar, sang the classic 'You Are My Sunshine' to his 85-year-old wife, Colleen. The couple's touching rendition brought tears to everyone in the room. James is in good health today, but was in the hospital suffering from a blood infection he developed after undergoing hip replacement.
I saw this story on Inside Edition and like most married couples I want this for the rest of my life. So precious! James had this to say "We're actually responding to this request to provide this interview in the hopes that it might make some lives better and happier," Jim said. "And we do not view ourselves as the big example or as this is the way to do it. It's just been sweet for us. We know how to be happy." "We're just blessed to be together and we marvel it. That we met. I sing a little song, sometimes, 'Some enchanted evening you may see a stranger across a crowded room.' And that's how I saw her," Jim said. read more from Inside Edition
Hilarious Frank and I were talking about 'fad diets' last week, BUT I wouldn't consider this a fad diet. My friend Yvonne text me this and I made my pitcher last night. I drink a lot of water anyway so why not hook it up with goodies that are going to be beneficial for ya. YUMMY!
Fat Flush Water Ingredients, per 1 pitcher Water
1 sliced grapefruit
½ cucumber, sliced
2 peppermint leaves ( I used way more mint leaves than 2)
This Fat Flush Water was also on Dr. Oz
