Joe Nichols is famous for the songs; Brokenheartsville, Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off, The Impossible, Gimme That Girl, among others is a proud dad, these days!

Joe & his wife Heather gave birth to a baby girl on Tuesday. They have named her Dylan River Nichols. Dylan is their first, although Joe has another child from a previous relationship.

The couple had been trying to have a baby for quite sometime. They wed in 2007. “Our prayers have been answered,” said Heather. “We went through years of loss and heartbreak to get to this point and now our little baby girl is here. We have been trying to have a baby together for many years, and this gift is not something we take for granted.”

Dylan entered the world at a healthy 7 lbs 5 oz and 21 ¼ inches long. Congratulations, Joe and Heather - you now have your hands full! :)
