Many of you may remember, a couple of years ago when Billy Currington & Jamey Johnson performed a free show at the RGVLS in Mercedes. It was crazy! I remember getting reports of the traffic backup on the expressway, the thousands & thousands of people that were there to see, what I thought at the time, was an "unproven artist"...Billy had some songs on the radio, but never really got over the top...or at least that was what I thought...to our surprise, the Rio Grande Valley LOVED BILLY CURRINGTON!

Since then, Billy has had tremendous success in South Texas. Pretty Good At Drinkin' Beer and People Are Crazy are still among Valley favorites. This Friday night, Billy will return to the RGVLS. We are totally psyched! Can't wait!

If you plan on attending, get there early. You'll be able to drop by the KTEX Radio Ranch & register for meet & greet passes. We are directly across from the special events center.
